For:
any woman (18+) who has experienced domestic abuse with her partner (whether that’s a man or a woman), a parent (including forced marriage) or son or daughter, in the Stockport borough (going up to SK8)

Meeting times:
11 week programme, Tuesdays and Thursdays usually 10am -12pm. Call the centre to register, following which there will be an assessment to help triage women into the appropriate group

About this group

Completing the programme will help you to have a better understanding about healthy relationships, help you to feel better about yourself and build confidence to improve the quality of your life, in a safe and supportive environment, with other women with shared experience. * Domestic abuse – The Government defines domestic violence as:”Any incident of threatening behaviour, violence or abuse (psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional) between adults who are or have been intimate partners or family members, regardless of gender or sexuality”.
