Co-production has given me something I didn’t expect: a sense of purpose.
“It hasn’t magically fixed everything, and I still have a long way to go. But being involved in projects where lived experience is valued has helped me build confidence, meet inspiring people and feel that my voice matters.
One of the things I value most is the opportunity to help improve services and experiences for others. I love Manchester and I hope that, in some small way, the work we do today can make things easier for people tomorrow.
For anyone who has ever felt that their experiences don’t matter, co-production shows that they do. Sometimes the smallest contribution can help create meaningful change.
If you’re curious about getting involved, I’d encourage you to contact the Co-production Team and find out what opportunities are available. Your voice could make a difference.”
