Salford Carers Strategy Task & Finish Group – session 2
Calling Salford Unpaid Carers*…
Are you an unpaid carer – someone who looks after a loved one?
We’re refreshing our 5-year Carers’ Strategy, and we need your voice!
We’re inviting a diverse group of carers to volunteer & help us make sure the language in the strategy truly reflects how you see yourself.
The goal: we want more people who care for loved ones to recognise they’re unpaid carers, so they can access the local support they deserve.
Your lived experience and words are vital. We can’t do this without you!
We’re looking for people who can attend all three of the below sessions, or at least sessions 1 & 2.
Session 1: Thurs 7 Aug, 10:30am-12:30pm, Pendleton Gateway, M6 5FX.
Session 2: Thurs 21 Aug, 10:30am-12:30pm, Eccles Gateway, M30 OTU.
Session 3: Thurs 4 Sept, 10:30am-12:30pm, Eccles Gateway, M30 0TU.
Light refreshments provided. Public transport / parking reimbursed (keep receipts).
The session will be facilitated by Jess (Salford City Council Carers Commissioner) & Jem (Gaddum Carers Involvement Worker – Salford).
