Salford carers service
You may be helping a friend, neighbour or relative with day to day tasks, their substance misuse, learning disability, physical or mental health. I support those who support others.
We also have a range of events for carers in Salford including carers walks, coffee mornings, a male and LGBTQ+ carers group, managing stress and wellbeing courses and more. Visit our events page for more details.
Gaddum Carers Salford now have a talking therapies service that you can access at small charge (please contact us for more details on fees). If you’d like to speak to someone about how you’re feeling either face to face or by phone/Zoom, we can offer you a space to do so with one of our supportive counsellors. You might want talk through a current or past situation, discuss how your caring role affects your mental health openly or just offload.
Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0161 834 6069.
What I do
This service supports carers through one-to-one and group support sessions, practical resources and knowledge sharing sessions.
Helping you be seen and heard when it really matters is important.
I offer a package of support tailored to your needs as a carer. I want to make sure you know your statutory rights, what you’re entitled to, as well as having the right advice, support and coping mechanisms to look after your own wellbeing.
Who can access this service?
Anyone who is a carer of any age who lives in Salford. We can also support carers who live outside of Salford if their cared for person lives in Salford.
