What is therapy?
Therapy is a safe, confidential place for you to talk about any issues that may be bothering you. These could be causing you to have low mood or feelings of anxiety. Therapy has proved to be very successful in relieving these feelings.
The word therapy includes a range of different treatments, one of which is counselling. When you come to us for therapy we will discuss and agree the best service for you, which includes an initial assessment with an experienced therapist.
In terms of the sessions, they are 50 minutes long, each week for about 8-12 weeks.
You’re in good hands with Gaddum as all our counsellors are registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and all cognitive behavioural therapists are registered with the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies.
