DESCRIPTION:A leisurely walk around the Salford Quays area from the Blue Peter garden towards the waterfront area of Media City\, through the Piazza (open area space) with good views of the docks and various multi use buildings there. After crossing over the bridge towards the Imperial War Museum north we will cross back along the Millenium bridge and turn right along the ‘Salford Riviera’ again with good views of the Manchester Ship Canal returning to the Media City area. (approx 2 miles). \nWe will have lunch at the Blue Peter gardens open area. There is a marquee there where we can have sandwiches and hot/cold drinks. \nBus 50 from Princess Street\, Manchester or Salford Precinct or tram from Eccles to Media City UK. We want to know how we can best support male carers.   \nSo what’s working and what isn’t? What would you like to see offered\, that currently isn’t?  \nMaybe you want us to offer more sociable activities\, so you can have a break from the stresses of caring\, meet other male carers and have some fun?  \nFor example walking football\, 5 a-side football\, going for a hike\, having a game of snooker/pool\, going for a bite to eat\, watching cricket\, going bowling etc.  \nMaybe you’d like us to restart the male carers group?   \nWe want to make sure our services are right for male carers.
