SUMMARY:Carers Focus Group (Salford) – Asking The Right Questions
DESCRIPTION:#HaveYourSay   \n If you’re a Salford Carer we’d love for you to join this Focus Group at Pendleton Gateway.  \n The ‘Salford All Age Carers Strategy‘ (2020-2024) is a city-wide strategy with priorities on how to make life better for carers in Salford.   \n The Strategy will be refreshed for 2025. Salford want to place the needs\, wants and aspirations of carers at the heart of the strategy for how Health and Social Care (H&SC) organisations work together over the next 5 years.  \n To help inform this work\, a survey has been created to understand Salford carer’s lived experiences and how supported carers feel by H&SC organisations.   \n The Focus Group will review and shape the Survey before it goes live. It’s an exciting opportunity to get involved in a city-wide initiative\, working towards improving support\, reducing inequalities and improving the health and wellbeing of carers.  \n We’re especially keen to hear from:  \n\nMale Carers \nCarers of a Black\, Asian or other Ethnic Minority background. \nLGBTQIA+ Carers \n\nBy volunteering your time and having your say\, you will help shape services and make a positive difference to Salford Carers.   \n We’ll provide a friendly atmosphere with brews\, biscuits and fruit.
