DESCRIPTION:This time\, shall we do what you want to do? \nCarers are amazing and it’s time for us to celebrate and thank you.  Come to this month’s Carers Focus Group and let us know what activities YOU would like in Carers Week (5 – 11 June). \nMaybe it’s a fun trip out\, a bit of pampering and self-care\, or the chance to learn about Carers’ Rights. By volunteering your time and having your say\, we will plan activities for Carers Week based on what you want. \nWe’ll also discuss how we can thank and celebrate our fantastic Carers Focus Group Volunteers (that’s you) during Volunteers’ Week (1 – 7 June) too. \nSo bring your ideas and we’ll buy the biscuits\, brews and fruit. We’ll also reimburse agreed travel expenses\, so you’re not out of pocket (just keep your receipts). \nYou’re welcome to stay afterwards and chat with carers and staff for half an hour too…it’s good to socialise. \nTo attend\, email jemma.houghton@gaddum.org.uk or call 0161 834 6069 (ext 4009).
